TYMPANA FOUNDATION
Visual Identity & Art Direction

BRIDGING CARE ACROSS BORDERS

The Tympana Foundation is a Netherlands-based nonprofit working to improve access to ear, nose, and throat (ENT) care in Madagascar. Founded in 2022, the foundation donates essential medical equipment and sends ENT specialists to train local healthcare workers.

My role in leading the creative development for Tympana Foundation spanned from early concept ideation through to art direction and brand rollout, shaping a visual identity that felt both professional and human. I created a full suite of branding assets, including the logo, colour palette, typography, and graphic language, with flexibility for both medical and community-facing use.

As the lead designer, I ensured the brand remained consistent across digital, print, and social applications, while also directing imagery, tone, and asset guidelines to support future growth. The result is a visual identity that reflects Tympana’s mission: accessible, grounded, and quietly confident.

THE IMPACT

The brand identity for Tympana Foundation plays a crucial role in shaping how the organisation is seen by donors, medical partners, and volunteers alike. In a space where trust and clarity are essential, the visual language communicates professionalism without losing the warmth and humility at the core of Tympana’s work.

A considered logo, colour palette, and tone of voice help the foundation present a unified front, whether on medical shipping containers or in community clinics. The identity doesn’t just represent the foundation—it supports its mission, making it easier to connect, communicate, and grow.
