CLARITY THROUGH DESIGN

Your Healthy Pregnancy is a national health campaign by the Australian Government designed to support expecting parents with simple, evidence-based advice. It focuses on three key areas: eating well, staying active, and seeking support, to promote healthier pregnancies and better outcomes for both parents and babies. The campaign includes accessible resources, illustrations, and practical tips to make trusted information easy to understand and act on.

As part of the design team behind Your Healthy Pregnancy, I helped bring clarity and warmth to a national health initiative for expecting parents. My role included helping refine layouts, applying copy updates, and maintaining visual consistency across a suite of branded resources, while also illustrating custom assets that supported key health messages around nutrition, movement and emotional wellbeing. The result was an approachable, evidence-based campaign that made vital information feel more personal and accessible.

THE IMPACT

The Your Healthy Pregnancy campaign continues to support thousands of expecting parents across Australia each year, offering clear, evidence-based guidance on nutrition, movement, and emotional wellbeing.

With over 300,000 births annually, the campaign plays a vital role in improving access to trusted health information, particularly for culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Through approachable design and inclusive illustrations, the campaign turns clinical advice into resources that are easy to understand and act on.

From GP clinics and hospitals to community centres and online platforms, the materials are widely distributed and used by healthcare professionals nationwide. Every visual element was crafted to make space for clarity, warmth, and culturally respectful care during one of life’s most important chapters.
