LUTHERAN SERVICES QUEENSLAND
Everyone is welcome here

SERVICE & SUPPORT FOR ALL OF QUEENSLAND

Lutheran Services provides quality and contemporary support and accommodation for older people, young people and their families, people living with disability or mental illness and families experiencing domestic violence and hardship.

They already had a well-established brand. What they needed was someone to help keep everything consistent as more materials were being created across different teams and channels. The challenge wasn’t rebranding or redesigning, it was making sure the brand continued to feel cohesive and recognisable, no matter where or how it showed up.

Whilst at Carbon Creative, I stepped in as a kind of brand gatekeeper, making sure everything followed Lutheran Services’ guidelines and maintained a unified look and feel. My work included managing and organising brand assets so they were easy to find and use, reviewing design work to ensure it aligned with the brand’s style, supporting other teams in applying the brand consistently and spotting any off-brand visuals early and helping bring things back on track.

THE IMPACT

By staying close to the details, I helped Lutheran Services maintain a strong and trustworthy visual identity. It wasn’t reinventing the wheel; instead, it was making sure the existing brand stayed sharp, consistent, and true to its values, especially as it scaled across new projects and platforms.

As a result, Lutheran Services maintained a more seamless workflow for teams creating brand-aligned content, a consistent and professional visual presence across all touchpoints, and increased confidence in how the brand was being used day to day.
